Your request for membership with Judo BC represents your agreement to abide by the rules, regulations, policies and codes of Judo BC, including but not limited to, the agreement to submit to a criminal records review, upon request.
All persons participating in a Burnaby Judo Club workout, whether they are Burnaby Judo Club members or not, MUST have a valid Judo BC membership.
All NEW members of the Burnaby Judo Club, as conditions of membership, must:
- Submit to the Directors an application for membership.
- Pay an initiation fee of $25.
- Pay all fees and dues as assessed by the Board of Directors.
- Adhere to all Codes of Ethics and Conduct as set out by Judo Canada, Judo BC, and the Burnaby Judo Club.
Most communication from and with the Burnaby Judo Club will be done through email, so make sure that you correctly enter a valid email address with which we can contact you. Let us know as soon as possible if you do not receive an email confirmation after you complete your online registration.
|Minor – (Under 19 Years of Age) or Full-Time Student||$440 per year, or $220 per 6-month period.|
|Adult||$600 per year, or $300 per 6-month period.|
|Judo BC||The Judo BC yearly fee is now a unified fee of $80 for all ages and ranks.|
- Within 5 days after you complete your registration, you will receive an invoice via email from Quick Books. Please follow the instructions and link on the invoice to pay online your Judo BC and Burnaby Judo Club membership fees. Payment will only be possible through the invoice link that will be provided to each individual member.
- All your fees are due when you complete your registration.
To help us better organize and target email communication with all club members we ask that you select the classes that you, or your, child, are planning to attend.
There are a number of changes to the class schedule, more specifically children have been divided into 2 groups, 6–8 and 9–12 years of age, in order to deliver a more targeted and appropriate teaching curriculum.

The Burnaby Judo Club will at times take photos or videos of adult and child members, classes, tournaments, social events and other club activities that may be used for instructional purposes, promotional materials and for our social media sites. We will continue to do so unless you withdraw your consent by notifying the Burnaby Judo Club by written letter.
